Donald "Donnie" Sheppard

Pooler, Georgia - Mr. Donald "Donnie" Sheppard, of Pooler, Georgia, formerly of Waltham, passed away on November 16th, 2015 in Saint Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. He was 41.

Donnie was born in Waltham on May 22, 1974, a son of the late Corinna (Maranda) Sheppard.

Donnie was born and raised in Waltham, and graduated from Waltham High School in 1992. He loved to spend time fishing with his boys and making them laugh. The family appreciates the many people who have reached out to them and have shared their joyful and fun memories of Donnie.

He leaves behind his wife Karine (Utley) Sheppard; two sons D.J. Sheppard and Darren Sheppard all from Waltham; his father, his brother, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends all who loved him very much.

Donnie was carried to heaven by his mother, Corine, who held his hand.

Family and friends will honor and remember Donnie's life by gathering for calling hours The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte.20), Waltham on Wednesday, December 9th from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
