Merrimack, New Hampshire – Ms. Donna A. (Gross) Gay of Merrimack, died Thursday, April 11, 2012, in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 64.

Donna was born in Boston on August 9, 1947, a daughter of Dora M. (LeBlanc) Gross of Worcester and the late Robert V. Gross. She was raised in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1965. She had lived in Clinton and in West Roxbury before moving to Merrimack six years ago.

Following her graduation from Newton Junior College, Donna was a stewardess for Northeast Airlines. After that she became a certified meeting planner, working on local and national meeting events at Prime Computer and later for a number of years at Digital Equipment Company in Maynard. Donna also ran her own meeting planning business and taught the subject at Bentley College in Waltham.

In addition to her mother, she leaves her sister, Joanne E. Hokanson and her husband, Robert, of Boylston; her brother, Robert M. Gross and his wife, Susan, of Waltham; her dear friends, Patricia McGrath of Waltham and Cis Platek of Watertown and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Donna's life by gathering for her Funeral Mass on Wednesday evening, April 18th, at 6 p.m. in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be private.
