Framingham – Sr. Doris P. Lambert, R.C.E., of Framingham, died on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Saint Patrick's Manor. She was 83.
Sr. Doris was born in Fitchburg on January 12, 1932, a daughter of the late Octave L. and Leona M. (Jacobs) Lambert. She graduated from Fitchburg High School and then earned her Bachelor's Degree and Master of Education from Boston College.
Sr. Doris entered the Religious of Christian Education Order in 1954, took her First Vow in December of 1955 and her Final Vow in August of 1961. Sr. Doris was a wonderful teacher and began her vocation at St. Pierre's Elementary School in Waltham and later went on to become the principal of St. James Elementary School in Arlington. After teaching for over twenty years she became the Director of Religious Education at St. Luke's Parish in Belmont. Sr. Doris loved to be active and even in retirement took every opportunity she could to volunteer to help with any endeavor.

All are welcome to honor and remember Sr. Doris' life by gathering to visit on Saturday morning, January 17th at 9 a.m. in the Holy Family Chapel at Saint Patrick's Manor, 863 Central Street, Framingham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown.
