Doris M. (Daigle) LeBlanc

Waltham – Mrs. Doris M. (Daigle) LeBlanc, of Waltham, died Sunday, July 10, 2022 in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She was 90 years old.

Doris was born in Waltham on January 31, 1932, a daughter of the late Maxime and Yvonne (Vautour) Daigle. She was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School in Waltham and had for years assisted her husband, Joe, in the operation of his local construction business.

Doris was a passionate advocate and volunteer for special needs causes, including Special Olympics and Belmont S.P.O.R.T., organizations that provide programs enjoyed by her daughter, Jen. She always kept busy with activities such as tennis, golf, painting, quilting, and gardening. She enjoyed more than forty wonderful summer vacations in Martha's Vineyard where she especially loved watching the Oak Bluffs fireworks in August.

In addition to her husband, Joseph A. LeBlanc, she leaves her children, Patricia J. Vano (Dennis) of Stow, Allen F. LeBlanc (Debra) of Sudbury, and Jennifer A. LeBlanc of Belmont; her grandchildren, Emily Noland, and Evan, Jeremy, and Ben LeBlanc; her siblings, Emile Daigle of Concord, Rosemarie Pineau of Milford, New Hampshire and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was also the sister of the late Evelyn Aucoin, Edmond Daigle, and Paul Daigle.

Family and friends will honor and remember Doris' life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), on Friday, July 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
