Doris L. Owler

Waltham- Mrs. Doris L. (Powers) Owler of Waltham died Friday, March 12th, 2004 in her home. She was 82. Born in Leominster, a daughter of the late Ernest T. and Hazel D. (Tyler) Powers, Mrs. Owler was a clerk for A & E Distribution, Inc. in Leominster for many years. She lived in Westminster for thirty-five years and prior to that she lived in Leominster before moving to Waltham two years ago. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Leominster. She attended the Leominster School System where she graduated from Leominster High School, Class of 1939. Mrs. Owler was the wife of the late Robert N. Owler. She is survived by her step-daughter, Susanne McCallum and her husband Stuart of Waltham; her step-son, Robert N. Owler, Jr. and his wife Rosemarie of Titusville, FL.; 8 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Westminster. Visitiation will be prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial donation’s may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
