Waltham Mrs. Dorothy R. (LaCour) Biondo died Sunday, September 28, 2003 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She celebrated her 81st birthday on September 22nd surrounded by her family. Born in Alexandria, Louisiana, Mrs. Biondo had lived in Waltham for the past 57 years. She worked as a sales clerk for more than twenty years at Grover Cronins Department Store in Waltham until her retirement. Mrs. Biondo was a long time parishioner of Saint Jude Church in Waltham. Mrs. Biondo is survived by her husband, Paul F. Biondo, to whom she would have been married for fifty-nine years this November; her children, Suzanne M. Chapman and her husband Stephen, of Boston; Carmen J. DAgostino and her husband William, of Reston, VA; Peter V. Biondo and his wife, Michele of Watertown; Paul J. Biondo and his wife Peg, and Ann Marie Copeman all of Waltham; her grandchildren, Wyatt Chapman, Lisa and Michael DAgostino, Katie, Gina, Melissa, and Nicole Biondo, and Angela Copeman; her sister, Narcile Chaze of Marksville, LA and several nieces and nephews. She was a daughter of the late Linus and Mabel (Ducote) LaCour and a sister of the late Marlene Mayeaux and Harold LaCour. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10 am. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
