Waltham – Mrs. Dorothy M. (Marden) Doyle of Waltham died Sunday October 10, 2004 in Emerson Hospital, Concord. She was 95. Born in East Boston, a daughter of the late Edwin M. and Eliza J. (Foley) Marden, she had lived in Waltham for the past 70 years. Until her retirement she worked as a licensed practical nurse at Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham. She had also been a participant of the Saint Mary’s Parish Minstrel Shows. The wife of the late Joseph E. Doyle, she leaves her children, Joseph B. Doyle and his wife Simmi of Westboro, Elizabeth A. ‘Betty-Ann’ Noyes and her husband Garry of Waltham, Robert E. Doyle and his wife Agnes of Maynard, Patricia J. McNally and her husband John of Gloucester, James R. Doyle and his wife Claire of Hopkinton and Thomas J. Doyle of Lowell; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late E. Charles Marden and Lillian C. Ferriani. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. At Dorothy’s request, memorial donations may be made to Advocates, Inc., 10 Wilson Street, Natick, MA 01760.
