Dorothy A. Gallagher

Miss Dorothy A. Gallagher of Waltham died Friday, July 3, 2009 in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was 44. Born in Boston on July 30, 1964, a daughter Gerald J. and Martha A. (Meade) Gallagher, Dorothy was a lifelong Waltham resident. She was a former pre-school teacher at the Carousel School in Waltham. While receiving dialysis, Dorothy always remembered the staff and patients with gifts during the holidays. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Barbara J. Gallagher of Waltham. Family and friends will honor and remember Dorothy's life by gathering at 10 am on Thursday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 11 am.
