Dorothy A. Larkin

Waltham – Mrs. Dorothy A. 'Dot' (Holland) Larkin, of Waltham, died Monday, April 7, 2008 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 59. Born and raised in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Karslian) Holland, she had been a Waltham resident for the past thirty-two years. Dot graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dorothy leaves her husband, William M. Larkin; her children, William P. Larkin and his wife, Lisa, of Stoughton, Linda M. Vittum and her husband, Dana, of Acton and Heather A. Palizzolo and her husband, Steven, of Maynard; her grandchildren, Anthony, Amber, Julia, Ashleigh, Kaitlyn and Ava; her sisters, Margaret Kuhns of Pembroke, Nancy Nunez of Everett and Linda Holland of Dorchester and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
