Waltham - Mr. Eckert M. Baillio of Waltham died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at his home. He was 92.<br><br>Born in Alexandria, Louisiana, the son of the late Clarence F. and Lessie P. (Ducote) Baillio, he lived in Cambridge before moving to Waltham 55 years ago. He was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston and until his retirement in 1977 had worked as an electronics engineer for the Raytheon Company for 32 years. During World War II he served as a chief petty officer with the U.S. Navy.<br><br>Mr. Baillio was a former member of the Lexington Elks and was an amateur ham radio operator for many years.<br><br>He leaves his wife of 61 years, Anna M. (Henry) Baillio; five sons, Michael F. of Dunstable, Paul A. of Westford, John H. of Newton, Thomas P. of Groton and James P. of Franklin; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.<br><br>Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.<br><br>Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.<br><br>Memorial donations may be made to HealthCare Dimensions Hospice, 48 Woerd Avenue, Waltham, MA 02543.<br>
