Edna K. Brown

Boston – Mrs. Edna K. (Kerns) Brown of Boston, formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 in the Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Melrose. She was 86. A daughter of the late David and Maggie (Culp) Kerns, Edna was born, raised, and educated in Huntersville, North Carolina and moved to the Boston area in 1952. She leaves her daughter, Helen Bisor of Malden and her grandchildren, Derrick and Garland Wilson. Edna was a special friend of the late Agnes Cohn Quinn and had a lifetime relationship with the Cohn, Quinn, and McManama families of Waltham. Edna was the sister of the late Junius Kerns and devoted companion of the late James Fuller. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 12 noon Saturday, December 22nd in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
