Waltham – Mr. Edward John Eagan died on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in his home. He was 54.

Edward was born in Waltham on June 1, 1963, a son of Lorraine (Scales) Eagan of Waltham and the late Edward James Eagan. He graduated from Waltham Vocational High School in 1981 and had most recently worked at West Springfield Auto Parts in Wilmington. In his spare time Ed loved to spend time with his family and friends, enjoyed going to the beach, reading and was a die-hard Boston sports fan.

Besides his mother, Lorraine, he is survived by his siblings, Richard M. Eagan of Bellows Falls, Vermont, Christopher P. Eagan of Brighton and Colleen Chartier and her husband, Michael, of Waltham and his nephew Michael E. Chartier.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ed's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, February 15th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to St. Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
