Edward F. Keefe

Waltham - Mr. Edward F. Keefe, Sr., of Waltham died Monday, January 5, 2004 at Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. He was 72. Born in Needham, a son of the late Patrick and Helen (Lewis) Keefe, he had lived in Waltham for 65 years. Until his retirement he worked as a supervisor for 32 years at Honeywell in Brighton. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf. He leaves his wife, Margaret A. (MacDonald) Keefe; four children, Susan M. Storella of Medford, Edward F. Keefe, Jr. of Marlborough, Jean M. Taddeo and Ellen M. Reid, both of Waltham; one sister, Helen Evirs of FL; 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Thursday from 3-8 p.m. Memorial donations my be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
