Waltham – Mr. Edward G. McNulty, of Waltham, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 55.

Ed was born in Waltham on October 3, 1957, a son of the late Richard and Amelie (Möers) McNulty, and had been a lifelong resident. He was a 1976 graduate of Waltham High School.

He worked as a professional painter and general contractor and was well known for his skills in basketball and baseball. Eddie was also a talented singer and dancer and could captivate an audience with his superb dance moves. His life was filled with a strong faith in God and a love for animals.

Ed is survived by his sisters, Layah Lehmann of Spencer, Mary McNulty of North Attleboro, Linda Hettick of Framingham, Christine Haysmer of Michigan and Dorothy Deiratani of Attleboro; brothers-in-law, Bashar Deiratani, Bruce Hettick and Rob Haysmer; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Rebekah and James, Amy, Jessica and Michael, Kariann, Amanda, Alexandra, Monica, Jenna, Jason and Ann, Joshua, Michael, Andrew and Joseph and his beloved step-children, Ronny, Roy and Kevin.

His older brother Dickie passed away several years ago and another brother, Mark, died in infancy.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ed's life by gathering at his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
