Arlington Mr. Edward G. Novello of Arlington died Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Lexington Health Care Center. He was 80. Born in Boston, a son of the late John and Mary (Scheri) Novello, he was a self employed distribution consultant for many years. Mr. Novello was raised in Everett and in Arlington. He was an Arlington resident for forty-five years. Ed was a graduate of Arlington High School, the University of San Francisco, and received a masters degree from Babson College. He was a World War II veteran having served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vicksburg during the Asiatic-Pacific campaign. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Frances V. (Corea) Novello; his children, John J. Novello of El Paso, Texas, Lawrence Novello of Belmont, Dana R. Novello of Arlington, and James W. Novello and his wife Lisa, of Southboro; his grandson, James Novello; one brother, Robert Novello and his wife Gloria, of Charleston, South Carolina; one sister, Joanne McRae and her husband James, of Kiwah Island, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Camillus Church, 1185 Concord Turnpike, Arlington at 9 a.m. Burial will be private.
