Waltham – Mr. Edward G. Petitpas, of Waltham, died Friday, April 8, 2016 in Boston Medical Center. He was 62.

Ed was born in Rexton, New Brunswick on November 16, 1953, a son of Alice (Gauvin) Petitpas of Moncton, New Brunswick and the late Norman Petipas.

He moved to the States in 1969 where he became a valued and loyal employee of Martin's Waltham Spring Company for forty-two years.

Ed loved spending summers in Newport, Vermont and was an avid Nascar racing fan.

In addition to his mother, Ed leaves his wife, Patricia A. (Romard) Petitpas; his children, Joseph E. Petitpas, Lisa A. Jensen and her husband, Christopher, and Edward M. Petitpas, all of Waltham; his grandchildren, Erik and Mark Jensen; his brothers and sisters, Gerald E. Petitpas and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Billerica, David V. Petitpas and his wife, Diane, Ann Arsenault, and Evelyn Petitpas, all of Moncton, New Brunswick and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ed's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, April 14th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday morning when his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham.
