Edward P. Pinnella

Waltham – Mr. Edward P. Pinnella, of Waltham, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 52.

Ed was born in Great Neck, New York on March 31, 1962 and attended State University of New York in Farmingdale, Long Island. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from the New York Institute of Technology and had worked in the field all of his life. Before moving to Waltham last year he had lived and worked in Huntsville, Alabama.

He leaves his son, Samuel Pinnella of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; his father and step-mother, John and Cathleen Pinnella of Eastport, New York; his mother, Kathryn Davis Pinnella of Dolores, Colorado; his longtime companion, Tara Konig of Waltham and his brothers, Michael Pinnella of Bonifay, Florida and Steven Pinnella of Deer Creek, Minnesota.

Ed was also a brother of the late John Pinnella.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ed's life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, January 16th, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where his funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
