Weston – Mr. Edward "Ned" J. Sennott, Jr., of Weston, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his home. He was 53.
Ned was born in Newton on July 28, 1964, a son of Patricia (Walsh) Sennott of Weston and the late Edward J. Sennott. He was a Weston High graduate and a lifelong resident of the town where he belonged to the Boys Scouts achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
After high school he went to Northeastern University in Boston where he participated in the ROTC program and was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Army upon graduation. Ned completed armor school at Fort Knox, Kentucky and served with the U.S. Army Reserves.
Ned was also a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and had worked as a chef.
In addition to his mother, Pat, he leaves his children, Patrick J. and Jillian A. Sennott; his brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Mary Sennott of Westwood; his nephews, Kevin and Michael Sennott and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will honor and remember Ned's life by gathering to visit from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 2nd in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to Saint Julia Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
