Waltham Mr. Edward F. Stanton of Waltham died Saturday, June 4, 2005 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was 86. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Edward A. and Esther G. (Hayes) Stanton, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Stanton was the proprietor of E.F. Stanton Company on Felton Street in Waltham. During World War II he served with the U.S. Army and had been a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge No. 1018 in Waltham. He leaves his wife, Anna F. (Voymas) Stanton; his children, Jean P. Craig and her husband Ronald of Ashland, Christine M. Wheeler of Framingham and Edward F. Stanton, Jr. and his wife Dianne of Hopkinton; his grandchildren, Karen Gelfusa, David Craig, Amanda Wheeler, Edward, Jessica and Meghan Stanton; two great-grandchildren, Katrina and Antonio Gelfusa; two brothers, Bernard J. Stanton of Taunton and Robert E. Stanton of Florida; one sister, Alice K. Duquette of Easton and many nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Lawrence J., Andrew D., and Joseph Stanton and Esther A. Hannan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Monday, June 13, from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.
