Edwin F. Marchand

Waltham – Mr. Edwin F. Marchand, Jr., of Waltham, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in his home. He was 79. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mr. Marchand was the owner of EFM Auto Parts Store in Somerville for many years. He was a member of the TY-Rods Club and attended all of their meets. Mr. Marchand enjoyed riding his Harley cross country well into the age of 70. He had been a member of the Army National Guard. Mr. Marchand was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Allen) Marchand, the son of the late Edwin F. and Mary (McCue) Marchand and the brother of the late Elizabeth Carney. He is survived by his children, Steven A. Marchand of Medford, Jane A. Marchand of Boston, Judith M. Boyd of East Boothbay, Maine, Michael Marchand of Tewksbury, and Edwin F. Marchand, III, of Waltham and ten grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services Saturday at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
