Eileen A. Bennett

Waltham – Mrs. Eileen A. (Smith) Bennett of Waltham died Sunday, January 18, 2004 at Epoch Senior HealthCare of Weston. She was 94. Born in Pembroke, Maine, a daughter of the late Frederick P. and Eva (Small) Smith, she lived in Waltham for more than 40 years. Until her retirement she worked as a bookkeeper. The wife of the late Stephen Bennett, she leaves her children, Charles H. Bennett and his wife Madeline of Waltham and John R. ‘Jack’ Bennett and his wife Claire of Wells, Maine; one sister, Inez Mills of Eastport, Maine; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Eileen (Bennett) Khoury and a sister of the late Leslie Mills, Harold Smith, Marion McCart and Hazel Brown. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are omitted. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Shrine, 512 West Saratoga Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201.
