Eileen H. McNeil

Eileen H. (Hatfield) McNeil - 87, of Warrington, PA; formerly of Orange, CT died on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Neshaminy Manor in Doylestown, PA.

She was the loving wife of the late William J. McNeil for 52 years. Eileen was born in Waltham to the late George & Mary (McDade) Hatfield. She graduated from Waltham High School, class of 1947. Eileen was employed as an Assistant Clerk of Court for the County of Middlesex for 10 years. She was an avid painter and enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Bill.

Eileen is survived by two sons, Douglas F. McNeil of Suwanee, GA and William G. McNeil & wife, Deirdre, of Stratford, CT; two daughters, Linda M. Tantawi & husband, Dino, of Demarest, NJ and Eileen H. Garrett & husband, Kevin, of Edmond, OK; five grandchildren, Shannon, Alessandra, William, Adam & Riley and one great-grandchild, Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George "Bud" Hatfield and a sister, Mary Shaughnessy.

Family and friends will honor and remember Eileen's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Saturday morning, December 27th from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to St. Mary's Church, 133 School St., Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
