Elaine C. (LeLievre) Angelo

October 12, 1933 — October 14, 2018

Elaine Angelo always knew that family is where life began and love never ended. They laughed, worked, dreamt and supported one another. It was her circle of strength…founded on faith, joined in love and kept by God….together forever!

And when she breathed her last on Sunday, October 14, 2018 they were at her side…like she was when she brought them into the world. She was 85.

Born on October 12, 1933 Elaine C. LeLievre was a daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Delaney) LeLievre. Raised and educated in Waltham she was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School. On October 22, 1950 she married her sweetheart, Wendell A. Angelo in Saint Joseph's Church, Waltham. They settled in Waltham to raise their family. As if raising six children wasn't full time enough Elaine worked as a property manager for BayBank in Burlington for many years and it was a job she very much proud of and loved. After retirement they began dividing their time between Yarmouth and Bonita Springs, Florida. After 64 years of marriage Wendell died on October 23, 2014.

She had a knack for decorating and making a house a home. She defined mother and keeper of the house. Elaine made and sewed clothing for her children in early years, enjoyed gardening and cooking. When she became interested in something she committed herself to it…like playing the piano and dancing and she was a natural. No one would disagree Elaine was a perfectionist and she put her heart into everything she did.

In later years she bravely battled the debilitations of Parkinson's disease with grace and her life…in health and sickness is example for the many who knew and loved Elaine.

She leaves her children, Deborah M. DeFilippo (Thomas) of Burlington, Brian T. Angelo of Bonita Springs, Florida, Paula M. Landry (George) of Waltham, Pamela J. Baker (Mark) of Shrewsbury, Michelle L. Keirstead (Clifford) of Waltham and Lynette M. Wardwell (Jeffrey) of Wakefield; her grandchildren, Christine Power (David), Wendi DeFilippo, Sarah Landry, Elizabeth Class (Nelson), Rebecca Gabryjelski (Adam), Scott Landry (Kayla), Charlene Stoessel (John), Jill Martin (Jim), Lindsay Baker, Marc Keirstead, Leah Veduccio (Daniel), Brad Keirstead, Lori Keirstead, Alison, Robert and Marissa Wardwell; her great-grandchildren, Brendan, Ryan, Tyler, James, Michael, Anthony, Isabel, Emma, Evan, Andrew, Logan, Hunter, Liam, Owen, Laila, Jake, Eliana and the anticipation of her newest expected great-grandchild; her brother, Donald LeLievre (Ellie) of Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was also the sister of the late Jeannette Ryberg.

Family and friends will honor and remember Elaine's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, October 18th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery.
