She was a former president and member of the Waltham Firefighter's Wives Association and was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
Eleanor was a loyal and dear friend to many. Her lifelong passion and greatest happiness was her love for her family. She was their greatest supporter and provider of comfort throughout her life. Eleanor was a very spiritual woman and was proud of her Irish heritage.
