Waltham- Mrs. Elinor B. (Berry) Peirce of Waltham died Saturday April 2, 2005 at Meadow Green Nursing Center, Waltham. She was 88. Born in Baltimore, MD; a daughter of the late Henry E. and Marion Perkins Copeland, she has lived in Waltham for many years as a homemaker. Ellie embraced the world with a unique sense of humor, and gentle shyness that endeared her to everyone. She was easy going and full of life and especially loved a summers day at Nahant Beach, bowling, fishing, or any gathering of laughter and fun with her many devoted family and friends. She was the sister of the late Anne McInerney, Elizabeth Lloyd, and Marjorie Clem. She is survived by her husband of 57 years of Walter L. Peirce, two sons Alan C. Peirce of Chelmsford, Walter W. Peirce of Waltham, one daughter Susan J. Gallagher of Kennewick, WA, six grandchildren three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donation’s may be made to Shriners Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Moston, MA 02114
