Waltham Mrs. Elizabeth Betty (Aucoin) Boudreau of Waltham died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 77. Born in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, a daughter of the late Thomas and Sophie (Deveau) Aucoin, she moved to Waltham in 1955. Betty was a former employee of the Cleavite Company and the Raytheon Corporation and then spent many years as a homemaker. She enjoyed an active life including golf and skiing. Betty was a lifelong member of Saint Josephs Parish of Waltham where she was active in the Womens Guild and other church support activities. After Saint Josephs closing, she became a communicant at Sacred Heart Church in Waltham. She was also a member of the French-American Victory Club Womens Auxiliary. Betty was the beloved wife of 55 years to Henry Boudreau; loving mother of Kevin P. Boudreau and his wife Cindy of Waltham; and cherished grandmother of Luke, Ethan and Rachel Boudreau. She also leaves six sisters, Marie Helen Aucoin, Lucie Dora Aucoin and Germaine Campbell and her husband, Monty, all of Cheticamp, Julie Arsenault and her husband Paul of Edmonston, New Brunswick, Lorette Chiasson and her husband Marcel of Tewksbury and Therese Duff and her husband Randy of Hamilton, Ontario; four brothers, Luc Zenon and his wife Pauline of Hamilton, Ontario, Willie Joe and his wife Yvette, Wilfred and his wife Gemma and Alphonse and his wife, Dorothy, all of Cheticamp and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Wilfred, Laurent, Leo and Lynus Aucoin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 10 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
