Elizabeth W. Burke

Waltham – Mrs. Elizabeth W. (Nestico) (Quinn) Burke of Waltham died Tuesday September 7, 2004 in the Boston Rehabilitation Center, Roslindale. She was 84.<br><br>Born and raised in Allston, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Philomena (Varano) Nestico. Until her retirement she worked as a sales clerk for many years at Grover Cronin and at Jordan Marsh department stores. She was a Waltham resident for the past 37 years and had been a long time parishioner at Our Lady’s Church in Waltham.<br><br>She leaves her husband of forty-eight years, Thomas A. Burke; one daughter, Philomena Quinn of Brighton; one grand-son, Myles T. Cassidy and his wife Theresa; one great-grandchild, Callie L. Cassidy; one brother, George Nestico of Dorchester; three sisters, Rose Reynolds of Marlborough, Barbara Steinbiser of Lowell and Ann Whitten of Las Vegas and many nieces and nephews. She was also the wife of the late John L. Quinn and a sister of the late Francis, Albert, John and Julia Nestico, Diana LaMontagne and Mary Beltram.<br><br>Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.<br><br>Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.<br>
