Waltham - Mrs. Elizabeth A. (Parsons) Harron, of Waltham, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Meadow Green Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 84.
Elizabeth was born in Waltham on January 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Howard C. and Esther ( Murphy ) Parsons, and had been a lifelong resident.
She worked for the Reece Corporation in Waltham and also at the rectory at Sacred Heart Church in Waltham. She was devoted to her family and to her faith.
The wife of the late Lawrence W. Harron, she leavers her children, Faith M. Boudreau of Great Diamond Island, Maine, Laura J. Lambert and her husband, Steven, of Zionsville Indiana, Thomas J. Harron of Waltham, Lawrence E. " Chip" Harron and his wife, Mary, of Centerville and Judith E. Pulsone and her husband, Nicholas, of West Newton; her siblings, Mary Muise, Barbara Cannistraro and her husband, Louis, all of Waltham, Florence Nisbet of Marlborough, Patricia Santello and her husband, Ben, of Falmouth, Howard Parsons and his wife, Betty, of Brockton, and Jack Parsons and his wife, Judith, of Ft. Myers, Florida; her sister- in- law, Sally Parsons of Newtonville; her brother-in-law, Edward Bowman and his wife, Janet; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was also a sister of the late Roy Parsons, mother-in-law of the late David Boudreau, and sister-in- law of the late Daniel Muise.
Family and friends will honor and remember Elizabeth's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Thursday, August 28th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery.
