Elizabeth D. LeBlanc

March 14, 1934 — July 14, 2017

West Yarmouth – Mrs. Elizabeth D. (Wade) LeBlanc, of West Yarmouth, was welcomed into eternal rest by our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 14, 2017 at her home. She was 83.

Elizabeth was born in Brighton on March 14, 1934, a daughter of the late John and Julia (Coffey) Wade and was raised in Watertown. She was a graduate of Watertown High School.

She lived most of her life in Watertown and in Waltham before moving to West Yarmouth two years ago. She had been a longtime teacher's aide at the Fitzgerald School in Waltham and at the Wellington School in Belmont. Most recently she helped her son at his business, Allen Harbor Marine Service in Harwich Port. She became a parishioner of St. Pius X Church in South Yarmouth after moving to the Cape.

She leaves her children, Susan Griffith and her husband, Joseph, of Amesbury, Robert LeBlanc and his wife, Louann, of Belmont, Bruce LeBlanc and his companion, Tomoko Okada, of Tacoma, Washington, Joyce Kramer of Sandwich and Craig LeBlanc and his wife, Vicki, of South Yarmouth; her grandchildren, David LeBlanc, Robert LeBlanc, Juliann LeBlanc, Roxanne Griffith, Stephannie LeBlanc, Christian Griffith, Brandon Kramer, Katelyn Kramer, Bryson LeBlanc and Rylan LeBlanc; her sister, Julia Goodrow and her husband Albert of Franklin; her brother, Paul Wade and his wife Ellen of Waltham and many nieces, nephews and their families.

Elizabeth was also a sister of the late Rita Apodaca, Cecilia Vincent, Mary Wade, John Wade, Jr. and William Wade.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family, many students, co-workers and friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Elizabeth's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, July 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown.
