Elizabeth H. Lemont

Waltham - Mrs. Elizabeth H. (Speer) Lemont, of Waltham, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at Wayside Hospice in Wayland. She was 75. Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Gardiner) Speer, Elizabeth was a homemaker and in her spare time she enjoyed reading, Irish music, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. She also held dual U.S. and Irish citizenship. She leaves her children, Robert C. Lemont and Kathleen M. Lemont, both of Waltham, Julie A. Lemont of Maynard, Erin I. Donato and her husband, David, of Framingham, Joseph C. Lemont of Waltham, and Christopher C. Lemont and Scott C. Lemont both of Nantucket; one sister, Kathleen A. Howrigan of Fairfield, Vermont; her grandchildren, Jeb Lemont, Brian Navin, Peter and Daniel Donato, one great grandson, Devan Lemont and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was the sister of the late Robert J. Speer and Patrick J. Speer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Elizabeth's Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham.
