Waltham – Mrs. Elizabeth M. (Adreani) Levensaler, of Waltham, died Monday, October 13, 2008 in the Life Care Center in Stoneham. She was 100. Born in Carlisle, England, Mrs. Levensaler's family moved to East Boston when she as one year old. She had been living in Waltham for the past sixty-six years. Mrs. Levensaler was a cashier in the cafeteria of Compo Shoe, retiring at age 72. She had previously worked at the Servamation Company in East Boston for twenty years. Mrs. Levensaler was a parishioner of Saint Mary's Church in Waltham. She was the wife of the late Leon W. "Jack" Levensaler, the daughter of the late Luigi and Anita (Turicci) Adreani, the sister of the late Andrew Adreani, Jenny Manning, Francisco Adreani, Thelma Salem, Louis Adreani, Mary DiBerto, William Adreani, Youla Pastore, and Ida Adreani, and the mother-in-law of the late Mary Levensaler. Mrs. Levensaler is survived by her children, Walter L. Levensaler of Dennisport, Anita L. Raffa and her husband, John, of Bedford, and John D. Levensaler and his wife, Laura, of Woburn; her sister, Lena DiFronzo of East Boston, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
