Ellena M. Brazell

Waltham – Mrs. Ellena M. (Hayes) Brazell, of Waltham, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Epoch of Weston. She was 91. Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late John T. and Delia A. (Kelly) Hayes, Ellena moved to Waltham in 1944. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge and whist. The wife of the late Francis E. Brazell, she leaves her children, Frank E. Brazell and his wife, Rita, of Norwood, Terry M. Kett and her husband, John, of Billerica and Judy A. Burgess and her husband, Tom, of Waltham; her grandchildren, T.J., Keri and Jim Burgess, Jonathan Kett, Lisa Houghton, Dawn Marie Quartarone, Judy Kasprzyk, Patsy and Scott Brazell; two brothers, Edmund and Thomas Hayes, both of Concord; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late John, Joseph, Leo and Lawrence Hayes and Catherine Bouffard. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
