Elsa (Brunnhuber) O'Dea

Waltham – Mrs. Elsa (Brunnhuber) O'Dea, of Waltham, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham. She was 88. Born in Germany, a daughter of the late Otto and Freida (Knaus) Brunnhuber, she lived in Cambridge before moving to Waltham when she was ten years old. Elsa was a graduate of Waltham High School and Fisher Junior College. Until her marriage she worked for many years as a secretary at the Waltham Watch Factory. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waltham. The wife of the late Michael T. O'Dea, Sr., she leaves her sons, Michael T. O'Dea, Jr. and Richard C. O'Dea, both of Waltham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Monday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
