Emma O. Judd

Waltham - Ms. Emma O. (Fantasia) Judd of Waltham died Monday, June 28, 2010 in the Pine Knoll Nursing Home in Lexington. She was 88. Emma was born in Watertown on July 29, 1921, a daughter of the late Eugene and Luisa (Principe) Fantasia. She had lived in Watertown before moving to Waltham in 1975.

Emma was a supervisor for thirty years at the Raytheon Company and, until her retirement, she worked for the Environmental Protection Agency of the Federal Government.

Emma is survived by her sisters, Carmella L. Lisa of Waltham and Rose Bateson of Basehor, KS; her brother, Benjamin Fantasia of Braintree; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Emma was also the sister of the late Emmanuel Fantasia.

Family and friends will honor and remember Emma’s life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, ( Rte.20), Waltham on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
