Las Vegas, NV – Mr. Ernest R. Fiorelli, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at his home. He was 100 years old.
Mr. Fiorelli was born in Rome, Italy on August 6, 1913, a son of the late Erico and Theodora (Marcelli) Fiorelli. He lived in Waltham, Lincoln and in Simi Valley, California for a number of years before moving to Las Vegas.
Until his retirement Mr. Fiorelli worked as an engineer for the Raytheon Company.
The husband of the late Rose M. (Vanaria) Fiorelli, he leaves his son, Ernest Richard Fiorelli of Las Vegas, Nevada; his grandchildren, Jeanne, Richard, Judy, Maryann, Elizabeth, Francis, Linda and Lisa; 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Carolyn R. Tarantino.
Mr. Fiorelli was also the brother of the late Clara Notartomaso and Alfred Fiorelli.
Family and friends will honor and remember Ernest's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday morning, February 6th at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
