Manchester, NH – Mr. Eugene J. 'Huey' Kantowski, of Manchester, died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at his home. He was 51.

Eugene was born in Long Island, New York on October 14, 1962, a son of the late Leonard Kantowski and Anita (LeBlanc) Malvey. A New Hampshire resident for the past several years he worked as a self-employed handyman.

Always capable of fixing things, taking things apart and putting them back together his hobbies extended to a huge collection of model cars and planes. Eugene loved NASCAR racing and looked forward to his annual trip to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.

Eugene leaves his children, Kyle and Ryan Hoover, both of Phillipsburg, Kansas; his sisters, Elizabeth 'Liz' Distasio and her husband, Michael, of Acton, Laura Beltrami and her husband, Donald, of Littleton, Melissa Morse of Nashua, New Hampshire and Diane Renault and her husband, Peter, and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the father of the late Eric Kantowski and a brother of the late Leonard Kantowski, Jr. and Mary Kantowski.

Family and friends will honor and remember Eugene's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, May 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday morning in Westlawn Cemetery, 7 New Estate Road, Littleton where graveside services will be held at 11 a.m.
