Lexington Mrs. Eugenia F. 'Jean' (Caira) Ciccone of Lexington, formerly of Waltham and Newton, died Thursday, December 15, 2005 at the Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley. She was 84. Born in Newton, a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Bove) Caira, she was raised and educated in Watertown. She was a resident of Waltham for 6 years, Newton for 20 years and Lexington for the past 27 years. Jean worked as a sales clerk for Walgreens in Lexington and before that worked in the mail department at Boston College Law School for 15 years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves her husband of 60 years, Nicholas C. Ciccone, of Lexington; 3 sons, Rev. Nicholas C. Ciccone of Waltham, Richard A. Ciccone of Buxton, Maine and Capt. Paul J. Ciccone, Waltham Fire Department, of Lexington; a brother, Joseph Caira of Lexington; two sisters, Amelia Russo and Eliza Scalzi, both of Lexington; 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Tricia, Benjamin, Brian, Jeffrey, Danielle, Kevin Ciccone and Nicole Ciccone-Kendall; 3 great grandchildren, Courtney, Richie and Tyler Ciccone and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Caira and Louise Cappelucci. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Brigid Church, 2001 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington at 10 a.m.. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
