Evelyn L. Guelli

Waltham – Mrs. Evelyn L. (Anderson) Guelli, of Waltham, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in her home. She was 78.

Evelyn was born in Everett on July 9, 1937 a daughter of the late Alfred and Marion (Quinlan) Anderson. She was a graduate of Everett High School. She moved to Waltham following her marriage to Waltham native Raymond P. Guelli on April 20, 1958 in Saint Theresa's Church in Everett.

Evelyn worked part-time at Grover Cronin's Department Store in Waltham and she and her family spent many happy summers at their cottage on Half Moon Lake in Alton, New Hampshire.

In addition to her husband, Ray, Evelyn leaves her children, James Guelli and his fiancé, Nadene, of Sudbury, Janice LaBrache and her husband, Paul, Robert Guelli and his wife, Debi, all of Waltham, Raymond P. Guelli, Jr. and his wife, Andrea, of Rockport and Patricia A. Keenan and her husband, Sean, of Littleton; her brother and sisters, John Anderson of Lynnfield, Dorothy "Peachie" Dabrieo of Woburn, Marion Hatch and Phyllis Templeton, both of Everett; thirteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Shirley Miele, Robert, Donald and Arthur Anderson.

Family and friends will honor and remember Evelyn's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, January 3rd from 3 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery.
