Faith E. (Jarvie) Cobb

Attleboro – Mrs. Faith E. (Jarvie) Cobb, of Attleboro, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her home. She was 79.
Faith was born on October 4, 1935 in Providence, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late James and Helen (Chaffee) Jarvie, and moved to Waltham with her family when she was a teenager. She was a graduate of Waltham High School.
An Attleboro resident since 1995, Faith worked until just a few years ago at Seabra Supermarket in Attleboro. When she lived in Waltham she had worked at Grover Cronin's, the Guaranty Trust Bank and for many years for the Waltham Public Schools cafeteria services at the Fitch Elementary School and at South Middle School.
Faith was a woman for whom family meant everything and nothing brought her more pride and joy than the addition to her family of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of sixty-three years, George T. Cobb, III; her children, Gail A. Lopez and her husband, Paul, of Medfield, Nancy J. Chiacchio and her husband, Robert, of Waltham, Carol J. Ferraro and her husband, Allan, of Attleboro, Donna M. Lee and her husband, Richard, of Ashland and Cynthia F. Naugler and her husband, Chris, of Westford; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Cobb of Westford; her grandchildren, Allison Woods and her husband, James, Michael Lopez, Leanne Lopez, Lauren DeLeon and her husband, Pedro, Robert Chiacchio and his wife, Shannon, Shawn Cobb, Ryan Cobb, Brandon Cobb, AJ Ferraro, Thomas Ferraro, David Ferraro, Matthew Muscato and his wife, Nadia, Joseph Muscato and Julie Muscato; her great-grandchildren, Anthony DeLeon, Elizabeth DeLeon and Anna Woods and many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
Faith was also the mother of the late Thomas G. Cobb.
Family and friends will honor and remember Faith's life by gathering to visit from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, September 14th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
