Waltham Mr. Felix E. Cincotta, Esq. of Waltham died Thursday August 14th, 2003 after a brief illness . He was 85. Born in Waltham, he was a son of the late Antonio and Mary (Palamara) Cincotta and brother of the late Joseph A. Cincotta. He is survived by his sister, Mary A. Cannistra of North Smithfield, R.I.; 2 nephews, Stephen A. Cannistra, M.D. of Needham and Anthony J. Cannistra, M.D. of Cumberland, R.I., and one niece, Linda M. Cannistra of Smithfield, R.I. Born in Waltham, he was raised and educated in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1937. He graduated from Boston University College of Liberal Arts, Class of 1942 and went on to graduate from Boston University Law School Class of 1945 with a Juris Doctor degree. He practiced law in the City of Waltham for over 50 years. He was admitted to District Court of Massachusetts on September 13, 1949 and he was also admitted as an attorney and Counselor of the Supreme Court on October 13, 1966, the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Immigration and Naturalization Service on November 30, 1949. He was the President of Waltham, Watertown, Weston and Newton Bar Association from 1963-1964, and he was a member of the American Bar Association, the Middlesex Bar Association and the Justinian Law Society. He was appointed Examiner of Titles and Land Court on December 9, 1955. He was also a member of the Rotary Club of Waltham. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-5 p.m.
