Waltham Mrs. Florence M. (Venuti) Cormier of Waltham died Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Meadow Green Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 87. Born in Watertown, a daughter of the late Thomas and Loretta (Hines) Venuti, she had lived in Waltham for most of her life and in Belmont for fifteen years. She had been an active member of Saint Charles Parish in Waltham and had been a Meals on Wheels volunteer at Maristhill Nursing home in Waltham. The wife of the late Joseph S. Cormier, she leaves her children and their spouses, Elizabeth and Peter Charbonneau of Royalston, Mary-Anne and Butch Bennett of Belmont, Arthur and Sally Cormier, Lorraine and Frederick Dowcett, Joan and Tim Utley, Linda and James Trainor, Laura and Wayne Flaherty, Ann and Robert Foucher, all of Waltham, Patricia Donahue and her companion Rich Fura, and Jerome and Nicole Cormier, all of Attleboro; her sisters and brothers, Larayne Valente of Royalston, Thomas Venuti of Wakefield, Marie Maguire, Kay Pantenella and Colin Venuti all of Florida. She was the grandmother of 35 and great-grandmother of 26. Florence was also the mother of the late Michael Cormier and Margaret Jigarjian, mother-in-law of the late Charles Jigarjian, grandmother of the late Paul Charbonneau and Michael Dowcett and sister of the late Edward Venuti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
