Waltham – Mrs. Frances A. (Vanaria) Eldridge, formerly of Waltham, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in the Sterling Village Nursing Home in Sterling. She was 91.
Frances was born in Waltham on December 28, 1924, a daughter of the late Joseph ad Nancy (Bonica) Vanaria. She was a graduate of Waltham High School.
Her loving husband of sixty-two years, Sam Eldridge, Jr., passed away on February 18, 2014.
Frances leaves her children, Linda Schafer and her husband, Larry, of Northborough, Donna Vautour and her husband, Paul, of Waltham, Karen Burke and her husband, Walter, of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Judith Penzone and her husband, John, of Northborough and Joseph Eldridge and his wife, Sue, of Billerica; his grandchildren, Gina Eldridge, Joey Eldridge, Jenn Silva, Jeffrey Vatour, Damian Burke, Adam Burke, Ryan Burke, Michael Burke, Sean Penzone, Samantha Penzone and Glenn Penzone and her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Julia, Max, Isabelle and Amanda.
Along with her husband, Sam, Frances will rejoin her sister Rose Zilinskas, her niece, Sheila Boucher and her granddaughter, Kimberly Shafer, in heaven.
Funeral services are private.
