Frances P. Reil

Venice (FL) - Mrs. Frances P. (Ryan) Reil, of Venice and West Hyannisport, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Venice. She was 91. She was the wife of the late William P. Reil. Born in New York, New York, a daughter of the late Leo F. and Margaret I. (MacGillivary) Ryan she had lived in Waltham for forty years. Before moving to Venice in 1975, she had lived in Baltimore, Maryland. A 1936 graduate of Regis College in Weston, she worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Eberson's Underwriters Insurance in Boston. The sister of the late Mary L. Howe, she leaves her niece, Mary Louise Gleason and her husband Jim, of New York City and two grand-nieces, Mary Margaret Gleason, M.D. of Providence, Rhode Island and Tara Gleason Chicirda of Williamsburg, Virginia. A Funeral Mass was offered Monday, March 27, in Epiphany Cathedral, Venice. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 3, in Calvary Cemetery, 250 High Street, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham.
