Waltham - Mrs. Frances I. (McLaughlin) Silver, of Waltham, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 82.
Frances was born in Boston on July 16, 1932, a daughter of the late John F. and Winifred D. (Rigney) McLaughlin. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed cooking, shopping, and family trips to Hampton Beach.
She leaves her husband of fifty-eight years, Ralph E. Silver; her daughters, Patricia Shea and her husband, John, of Marshfield, Cheryl Zammuto and her husband, Ronald, of Mendon and Susan Rotchford and her companion, Robert Irwin, of Freetown; her grandchildren, Michael Mau, Stephen Mau, Mark Mankus, Robert Zammuto, Gregory Zammuto, Kristyn Rotchford, and Stacey Rotchford; and her great-grandchildren, Michael Mau, James Mau, and Robert Rotchford.
Funeral services are private.
