Frances D. Uhlig

Mrs. Frances D. (Taylor) Uhlig of Lancaster, PA formerly of Waltham died Sunday March 13, 2005 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was 90. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian (Derry) Taylor, she lived in Waltham until 1984 before moving to Lancaster, PA. She was a Billing Clerk for many years for Waltham Hospital until her retirement and was also very active at Lakeview Congregational Church in Waltham. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Uhlig, mother in law of the late Barbara Ann Uhlig and sister of the late Preston Taylor and half sister of the late Mary Taylor. She is survived by two sons Stanley G. Uhlig of Gulfport, MS and Gary R. Uhlig and his wife Jean of West Newbury, MA, two sisters her twin Florence Banks of Keene Valley, NY , Eleanor Fraize of Auburndale, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m at Lakeview Congregational Church, 285 Lake Street Waltham. Burial will be private. Arrangements by The Joyce Funeral Home, Waltham.
