Frances E. Wellman

Mrs. Frances E. (Connors) Wellman, of Berlin, formerly of Marlborough and Waltham, died Monday, September 14, 2009 in her home. She was 57. Frances was born in Waltham on October 25, 1951, a daughter of the late William and Helen (Schofield) Connors. She graduated from Waltham High School, Class of 1967. She lived many years in Waltham before moving to Marlborough in 2004 and to Berlin this past year. Frances worked as a cashier at the Super Stop & Shop in Hudson. Above all she treasured spending time with her family as they were always the center of her life. She leaves her husband of 40 years, Walter D. Wellman; two daughters, Stacy L. Wellman of Berlin and Dawn M. Wellman of Marlborough and two grandchildren, Michaela and Dylan Wellman. Family and friends will honor and remember Frances' life by gathering for calling hours at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to The Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
