Watertown Mr. Francis F. 'Gerry' Daley of Watertown, formerly of Waltham, died Monday, November 29, 2004 in Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Marlborough. He was 87. Born in Canada, Mr. Daley had lived in Waltham for many years before moving to Watertown. He was a barber and owner of Daleys Barbershop in Watertown for over forty years. Mr. Daley served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Amvets in Waltham. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Waltham as well as an avid golfer. Mr. Daley served as an usher at Saint Lukes Church where he was also a member of the church choir. He was the husband of the late Margaret J. (Coleman) Daley, the son of the late James and Mary (Furlott) Daley, and the brother of the late Walter, Charles, Vera Daley and Beatrice Pitre. Mr. Daley is survived by his children, Kathleen M. Lepire and her husband, Steven, of Hudson, James M. Daley and his wife, Patricia, of San Diego, CA, Gary P. Daley of San Francisco, CA, and Mark F. Daley and his wife, Janice, of Millis; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, and Susan Lepire; his brother, Arthur Daley of Wellesley; and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday, December 3, at 8 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Lukes Church, Belmont, at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
