Francis J. 'Frank' Moynihan

Waltham - Mr. Francis J. 'Frank' Moynihan, of Waltham, died Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire. He was 84.

Frank was born on August 11, 1925, a son of the late Jeremiah and Catherine (Casey) Moynihan. A lifelong resident of Waltham, Frank worked for the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham for over forty years as a fire marshal until his retirement in 1992. He was also a World War II veteran serving with the United States Navy.

He leaves his children, Gary F. Moynihan and his partner, Lisa Waterman, of Bradford, Paul J. Moynihan of Framingham, Ann Marie Landry and her husband, Joseph, of Plymouth, and Jane Wilson and her husband, Peter, of Derry, New Hampshire; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Frank was the husband of the late Barbara A. (LaLime) Moynihan; father of the late William F. Moynihan, and brother of the late Nancy O’Laughlin and Mary Moynihan.

Family and friends will honor and remember Frank’s life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Wednesday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
