Frank C. Lukosus

Mr. Frank C. Lukosus of Waltham died Monday, September 26, 2005 in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 83. Born in Brighton, Mr. Lukosus had lived in Waltham for the past thirty years. He was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years until his retirement. Mr. Lukosus was a World War Two veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #156 in Waltham and an avid fisherman. Mr. Lukosus is survived by his wife, Pauline (Bedigian) Lukosus; his son, Stephen J. Lukosus and his wife, Violeta, of Waltham; his daughter, Carol Ann Finnegan and her husband, Stephen, of Milton; and was ‘Papa’ of Stephen, Vanessa, Julia, Stephanie, and Kimberly. He was the son of the late Stephen and Frances (Platauna) Lukosus and the brother of the late Stephen Lukosus. The Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 am. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 pm.
