Waltham- Mr. Frank A. Monaco of Waltham died Monday April 26, 2004 in his home. He was 82. Born in Hyde Park, a son of the late Antonio and Angelina (Civitarese) Monaco, he was the owner and operator for 45 years for Rite-Way Cleaning Company in Cambridge. He was also a member of the John F. Sullivan V.F.W Post as well as a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a former usher for Our Lady’s Church. He was the father of the late William F. Monaco, Robert A. Monaco and brother of the late Thomas Monaco. He is survived by his wife of 60 years to Pia L. “Joan” (Mancini) Monaco, one sister Eleanor Monaco of Bowerbank, ME and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham. at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Memorial donation’s may be made to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church.
